Context of the assignment

RoomYou is the first sensor that senses CO2, and Melanopic light in a simple formfactor. High levels of indoor CO2 affect your sleep, cognition and performance. With highly insulated buildings CO2 levels can become way to high. Older buildings may also have high levels of CO2 as mechanical ventilation is often lacking. Melanopic lux is the amount of light that helps you regulate your sleep wake-cycle. 

This sensor is designed to support projects that use the WELL Building standard, or "Frisse Scholen” in the Netherlands.  RoomYou mission is to help you monitor and manage the best indoor climate for people. The brand is part of LuxBalance, which aims to inspire lives through the power of light towards a net-zero future.  

RoomYou relies on its innovation and satisfied customers that may recommend the brand to other potential users. Its target market is primarily in Asia (including Hong Kong) and Western Europe (including the Netherlands).  

This assignment involves developing and implementing an engaging digital content creation strategy for RoomYou. Content creation helps to educate potential users, inform potential partners and enhance brand awareness and engagement.  

The sensors are currently designed to support care facilities for people with Dementia. Communication stakeholders include people with dementia, family members, professional and medical staff, scientists, as well as interior designers, architects and NGOs. 

Other users include parents with new-born babies and kids, older people living independently at home, people working from home, small office owners, schools and more.  

For this assignment students may choose their preferred communication stakeholder or end-user for which the content will be optimized. e.g. a focus on home-owners / new parents that renovate their home or school facility management etc. 

Some affinity with any of these users would be helpful. 

Assignment

The assignment may include the following components:

Content Creation: Research best-in-class content and Produce content such as text posts, blog posts, images, videos, and Reels/Stories that align with RoomYou brand identity. 

In collaboration with the student(s) the assignment can be refined.

Student(s) own initiative is expected.

Regular check-ins with the client (RoomYou) are recommended to ensure alignment and receive feedback.

The project should emphasize creative and durable marketing practices.

A strong preference exists for end-to-end implementation of digital marketing strategies or tactics. This includes planning and execution and evaluation to ensure a holistic learning experience.

The final deliverable should include a summary of the strategy, execution, and results.

This assignment can be done in a group of 2 to 3 students.
