About the Organization
Musical School Sint-Maarten is an initiative by Roos de Vries, who lives and works in Sint-Maarten as an art teacher. She is passionate about teaching children dance, music and theatre.
The primary target group consists of children aged 6 - 13. However, the communication and marketing efforts should be directed towards their parents, who live on Sint-Maarten.
Musical School Sint-Maarten does not yet have a website or a professional logo, but the owner would like to expand the school and improve its online presence. The school is already active on social media, particularly Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. Although people can find the school online, there is room for improvement in its visibility, professional appearance and audience engagement.
An important aspect of this project is understanding the local culture and mentality of Sint Maarten. Students should explore how the island's cultural diversity, community dynamics and intercultural aspects influence communication and marketing. They should consider how to create communication that resonates with local parents and encourages them to engage with the school.
