Are you an ambitious HBO IT student with a passion for cloud technologies and automation? Do you want to gain hands-on experience in a large-scale hybrid environment and work with cutting-edge tools like Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code? Then this internship is for you!

You'll not only explore cloud technologies but also work with our on-premise Hyper-V environments. These systems are critical today but are candidates for migration to Azure, where improvements can be made giving you insight into modernization strategies and hybrid architecture.

During this internship, you'll dive into our complex IT landscape, which combines two self-managed data centers with a rapidly growing Azure cloud environment and a Kubernetes platform on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). You’ll work alongside experienced Cloud Engineers and contribute to projects that impact thousands of users worldwide.

Your tasks:

• Support cloud operations and help manage our Microsoft Azure environment.

• Learn Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, Teams, Intune).

• Work with Kubernetes and help maintain our AKS-based container platform.

• Automate infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible.

• Explore security and compliance through Conditional Access and policy management.

• Participate in migrations from on-premises to Azure and Microsoft 365.

• Maintain and improve on-premise Hyper-V environments while identifying migration opportunities.

You:

• Are an HBO IT student.

• Have knowledge of Microsoft or Cisco products and services.

• Like scripting and automation.

• Have good communication skills in Dutch and English.

• Are eager to learn, hands-on, and curious.
