IT Academy Noord: Django Girls
November 13th, from 9.00 - 16.30, Django Girls organizes an event in Groningen. If you are a woman and want to learn how to make websites, we have good news for you: they are holding a one-day workshop for beginners! It will take place at Hét Kasteel.
They believe the IT industry will greatly benefit from bringing more women into technology. They want to give you an opportunity to learn how to program and become one of women programmers!
Workshops are free of charge. Don't wait too long: they only have a limited amount of spaces!
If you are a woman, know English and have a laptop, you can apply for their event! You don't need to know any technical stuff – the workshop is for people who are new to programming.
As a workshop attendee you will:
- attend a one-day Django workshop during which you will create your first website
- be fed by us: food is provided
Django Girls is a free of charge, one-day programming workshop for women of all ages. Only requirement is a laptop, lunch will be provided.
